Bendix expands award-winning General CT™ rotor range

New Releases

Bendix's award-winning General CT™ Disc Brake Rotors are now available for a wider range of vehicles across including compact passenger cars, through to selected vans and light commercial.

Released in Australia and New Zealand earlier this year, Bendix’s innovative General CT™ Disc Brake Rotor range quickly gained positive attention for its industry-first SwiftCheck™ technology.

SwiftCheck™ is a machined feature that creates circular grooves on the rotor surface that narrow and disappear progressively as the rotor wears. The feature provides a fast and convenient visual indicator of rotor wear, letting motor trade professionals estimate remaining rotor life without the need to measure rotor thickness.

SwiftCheck™ is a machined feature that creates circular grooves on the rotor surface that narrow and disappear progressively as the rotor wears.

This initial range has been extended, with more rotors now available for a broader selection of popular marques including Mazda, Ford, Kia, Subaru, Hyundai, Toyota, Holden, Jeep and Mitsubishi. And there’s now greater availability for models as diverse as Mazda3, Civic, Focus, Alto, Corolla and Lancer in the light segments, through to Sorrento, Sportage, Odyssey, Kluger, CX9, Tarago, Cherokee, Transit, Master and Rodeo across heavier classes, SUVs and light commercial categories.

Selected vans including the Renault Master and Ford Transit are now covered under the General CT™ rotor range.

SwiftCheck™ aside, another important benefit of the General CT™ Disc Brake Rotors is their high-quality metallurgy that’s designed for longevity and improved heat dissipation. The range also delivers an ‘E+ Original Equipment Fit’ that’s designed to be a direct replacement for OE rotors – they meet or exceed OE specifications and deliver confidence for both workshops and vehicle owners.

Smaller passenger cars such as Mazda 3, Suzuki Alto, Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla are also catered to.

General CT™ Disc Brake Rotors were developed to provide great results with all disc brake pad formulations, but for optimum performance, they’re best matched with the Bendix range of brake pads.

As with Bendix’s other disc brake rotor product lines, General CT™ rotors feature SwiftFit™ surface protection, a coating that allows the rotor to be fitted without needing to remove oils. SwiftFit™ also helps prevent corrosion of the rotor resulting in an almost unlimited shelf life and a rust-free rotor.

In the SUV and large passenger car segment there are now General CT™ rotors available for Mazda CX-9, Hyundai Sportage, KIA Sorrento, Toyota Kluger and others.
