Bendix supports trade during pandemic

As Australia’s leading brake manufacturer, Bendix has taken all steps to ensure the continuity of supply of brake parts to the trade via its nationwide partner network. Bendix has been manufacturing in Ballarat for 65 years and whilst birthday celebrations were low key this year there is much to look forward to when lockdown is lifted.

“Like everyone, we are feeling the impact of Covid19. Our priority has been the wellbeing of our people and their families. I can’t be prouder of our workforce during this time” said General Manager George Kyriakopoulos “in fact I can’t be prouder of all Australians. We have worked together in an unprecedented way which gives us great hope for our country’s future. Our factory continues to operate albeit at a lower capacity, our warehouse is available to deliver product and our sales staff are ready to serve with of course the highest level of precautions available”.

It’s times like these that prove the importance of having a manufacturing presence in Australia. Maintaining cars, vans and trucks is more important than ever in these difficult times. Having a company that designs, makes and tests its products is the reassurance mechanics need and drivers want.
